Hey Alverno Dance Team Fans! Here’s the scoop on what we’ve been up to.
Over the past six weeks the ladies have been perfecting two routines, a jazz routine and hip hop routine, and they are going to have the opportunity to showcase the dances to their friends and family on Friday, March 23rd at 7:00 PM in the Christopher Hall auditorium. There will also be a short awards show during that time where the dancers will be awarded in areas such as best technique, most enthusiastic, sweetest personality, et cetera. Following the showcase and awards the famous Alverno dancers will be around to mix and mingle with their family, friends, and guests. J
On Sunday, March 25th the ladies will be judging the St. Catherine’s High School Dance Team dance competition ! Following the competition our dancers will have the opportunity to strut their stuff once more by performing both routines.
This year our team has done an amazing job fundraising for uniforms and competitions and building the dance program as a whole. Our current dancers have made it through thick and thin, and I’m very proud of what they have accomplished in our first year together.
